1914-D $10 Gold Indian. PCGS graded MS-63. Rich orange gold coloration with excellent luster. The 1914-D is known to come well struck and possessing flashy eye appeal and this piece showcases those characteristics wonderfully. The surfaces are frosty and finely granular and when tilted a slight orange peel effect is seen left of date. The mintmark is small and bold with the area immediately around it impressed from such a strong punch. A lovely example (PCGS # 8876) .
Estimated Value $1,400 - 1,500.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.
