Lot 2364

1891-CC $10 Gold Liberty. PCGS graded MS-62. Well struck and nice for the grade. Original mint frost is still present on this lovely eagle, one of 103,732 produced at Carson City this year. Really no serious marks or scratches to comment on and only a small off-color yellow stain at the right tip of the motto is worth mentioning. This issue is readily available in MS62 and then suddenly has a large population drop-off in MS63. PCGS has graded 174 in MS-62, 28 in MS-63 and a single MS-64 as finest (PCGS # 8720) .
Estimated Value $1,200 - 1,400.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.

Realized $1,610
