1914-D $5 Gold Indian. PCGS graded MS-62 PQ. Trailing only the 1910 and 1911 Denver issues, the 1914-D half eagle is a rather undervalued coin in the near-gem condition. True gem examples are seriously rare and only a handful are known. The present example is choice for the assigned grade. Quite a bit of original mint frost is found in the incuse devices and the surfaces display only minor abrasions. PCGS population of 241 in MS-62 (PCGS # 8528) .
Estimated Value $600 - 700.

Realized $748
