1928 Peace Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. A nice white and lustrous example of this low mintage date. Velvety luster is uninterrupted across the cheek and neck. Surfaces have only minor abrasions scattered randomly about. The 1928 Peace Dollar had the lowest recorded mintage figure of the entire Peace Dollar series, 360,649. In the near-gem condition and above, this issue is tied with the 1927 dollar as the scarcest Philadelphia date (PCGS # 7373) .
