1799 Draped Bust Dollar. Irregular date, 15 stars on reverse. . Bolender-4, Rarity-3. PCI graded EF-40. Our grade VF-30. Nice sharpness and uniform antique coloration over obverse and reverse. Light hairlines from an old cleaning and a small patch of shinier scuff marks near rim in between date and first star. A noticeable planchet defect at the rim above BE of LIBERTY. An interesting die variety with the 14th and 15th stars being small points extending from the right and left clouds. Also, the first 9 of the date obviously tips to the left.
