1799 Draped Bust Dollar. . BB-165. Sharpness of Fine-12. Cleaned long ago. Cleaned long ago, leaving the surfaces a touch shiny. Heavy hairlines are not found and the coin has retoned, apparently by original means, to a nice antique gray and soft golden coloration. Struck a tad off-center with the obverse dentilation missing at 11:00 - 1:00. A nice early Bust dollar with desirable eye appeal and solid technical merits.
