1799 Draped Bust Dollar. . BB-159. Sharpness of VF-25. Cleaned long ago. Obvious hairlines over surfaces that have retoned a subtle gray. The high points of Liberty and the eagle display even wear. Struck on a nice quality planchet with no problems. Well centered and no rim bruises of any kind. A popular variety that has seen demand surge in the past few years. The 8 x 5 arrangement of the obverse stars is seldom seen and even a cleaned VF is a very significant find.
