1798 Draped Bust Dollar. Heraldic eagle reverse, close date. . Bolender-29, Rarity-4. Sharpness of VF-30. Cleaned and retoned with scratches. A die variety with obvious raised die lines in the shape of a shield on the lower obverse. Surfaces were cleaned long ago but have retoned to a pleasant color. Hairlines are not really coarse and not very visible. On the reverse, some old scratches are seen through the stars above the eagle's head.
