1915-S Panama-Pacific Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. A golden example with a delightful sunset scene at the central obverse. Soft champagne luster rolls across the surfaces of both sides. One of the most beautiful commemorative coins from our nation and designed by Charles Barber. Struck as a means to raise funds for the Panama Pacific International Exposition, which was held to celebrate the opening on the Panama Canal in 1914 (PCGS # 9357) .
