Lot 1371

1922 Grant Half Dollar, with star. PCGS graded MS-65 PQ. Stunning and sharp with frosty with virtually no signs of the swirling die polish marks that usually accompanies this issue. Brilliant silver surfaces with unstoppable luster across the fields and devices. Grant's portrait is bold and well struck. Darker champagne toning in the reverse periphery and splashed occasionally near the cabin. One of nicest and most original examples that we have handled and a definite contender for the next grade level, resubmission is strongly suggested (PCGS # 9307) .
Estimated Value $7,000 - 10,000.
