1921 Alabama Half Dollar, with 2 x 2. PCGS graded MS-65. A truly beautiful gem specimen with pure white and frosty surfaces. Shimmering metal flow lines and thickly lustrous fields. Proposed in 1920 for the marking of the 1919 Centennial statehood celebration, this silver commemorative displays the portraits of William Wyatt Bibb (governor's office of 1819) and Thomas E. Kilby (governor's office in 1919). Usually found with central weakness on the reverse, this specimen is sharper than most (PCGS # 9225) .
