Lot 1285

1885 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-64. Another choice example of a low mintage issue, only 6,130 business strikes being produced. As is the case with many of the Seated Liberty half dollars from this collection, the present example is at the high end of its assigned grade. Surfaces on both obverse and reverse are sparkling with original mint frost. A faint hairline here and there but the quality of this piece is otherwise outstanding. PCGS population of 13 in MS-64, 10 in MS-65, 2 in MS-66 and 3 in MS-67 (PCGS # 6367) .
Estimated Value $1,000 - 1,100.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.

Realized $2,300
