1837 Capped Bust Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-61 PQ. An amazing specimen boasting beautiful iridescent toning and original surfaces! Just the loveliest colors adorn this always popular type coin and we feel that for what it is, this is one of the nicest examples we have seen in this grade range. Sea green, magenta, steel blue and golden hues are on both the obverse and reverse borders while the central portions are a soft gray. Pristine surface quality and fantastic eye appeal. A bold strike and unquestionably a mint state specimen. We are sure this beauty will receive a very hefty bid. Housed in an old PCGS green label holder .
Estimated Value $600 - 700.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.
