1823 Capped Bust Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-62. A strongly prooflike little beauty! Crisp luster with sparkling metal flow lines. Well struck with the hair and feather detail extremely pronounced. Gorgeous magenta and champagne toning has settled into the periphery, accenting the intense reflectivity of this piece. A well pronounced centering dot is seen in the center of the neck. A bold and impressive example of this variety with the double profile on the front of Liberty's device (PCGS # 6131) .
Estimated Value $700 - 800.
The Michael M. Magdic Collection.
