1809 Capped Bust Half Dollar. PCGS graded MS-61. A delicate blend of champagne and antique gray color with smooth luster. Vibrant iridescent toning exists in the obverse periphery. A small tick exists in front of the neck and just above the date. The reverse has slight reflectivity to it and is more uniformly white than the obverse. We note some strike weakness at the eagle's left claw, arrow tips and denomination. Light raised die lines exist just to the left of the eagle's neck, extending into the field at an upward angle (PCGS # 6092) .
