Lot 1062

1858-O Liberty Seated Half Dime. NGC graded MS-65. A well struck and choice gem half dime. Frosty silver surfaces are highlighted by light golden, magenta and blue at the top of the obverse. Strong die clashing is seen right of Liberty's portrait in the field. A predominantly white and lustrous example with the light amount of toning simply elevating this gem to an even more desirable state. Mintage of only 290,000, the fourth smallest mintage of any New Orleans produced half dime NGC population of 15 in MS-65 and 1 in MS-67.
Estimated Value $1,200 - 1,300.

Realized $1,265
