Typed Letter Signed as delegate to the United Nations, on "Val-Kill Cottage / Hyde Park…" stationery, September 13, 1952. To Mr. Steinman, thanking him for his invitation "to speak at your Zionist of America banquet…." She cannot accept because "The General Assembly of the United Nations opens its session on the 14th of October and if I am on the delegation I can not make engagements away from York City…." One small strip of tape on verso of lower edge, else fine.
