Johnson, Lady Bird. Typed Letter Signed ("Lady Bird"), on personal stationery with a vignette of the LBJ ranch in Stonewall, Texas, December 19, 1974, one page, 8½ x 6½ in. To long-time family friend and LBJ secretary, Dorothy Nichols, with a holograph greeting, "And Merry Christmas to all!" In part, "How happy I was to hear that you are continuing to record your memories for the Library's oral history collection….my wishes for you and your family are as warm as is my gratitude for these gifts that only you can give to the Library and to history…." Excellent condition.
