Lot 1362

Feuchtwanger Token. 1837. PCGS graded MS-62 PQ. Well struck feather detail with a tad of strike weakness on the eagle's leg. The fields show no marks and the overall appearance of the coin is very choice. One and Three cent pieces were produced by Feuchtwanger to show the benefits of his new "composition" as an alternative to the high cost that the U.S. Mint was paying to produce large cents (PCGS # 20001) .
Estimated Value $200 - 250.

Realized $265
