1800 Draped Bust Dollar. "Dotted date" from die breaks. B-14. R-3. PCGS graded AU-50. A well struck problem free example. The surfaces are quite pleasing with no discernible nicks or scratches worthy of note. All is overlaid with natural grayish-violet toning. Among the most popular of the "Red Book" draped bust dollar varieties. Pop of only 3 in this grade with 5 in AU-55, 2 in AU-58 and 1 in MS-64 (PCGS # 6889) .
