1856 Flying Eagle Cent. NGC graded Proof 35. A very desirable circulated example that exhibits even wear with nice clean rims and uniform chocolate brown in color. We note some scattered marks here and there, one in the field below the eagle, otherwise, quite pleasing and always in great demand. This is the key coin to the entire small cent series and is quite scarce in lower grades.
