1878 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 64. A gorgeous iridescent toned proof. For those who appreciate beautifully toned coins, this beauty should be carefully considered. The few scattered faint hairlines are well concealed by the blending of deep violet and electric blue iridescence. Of the 800 proofs made, only a handful could compare with this. Pop of 48 with 19 in PR-65 and 2 in PR-66 (PCGS # 6439) .
