Maximus, son of Maximinus I, as Caesar, 235-238 AD. AE Sestertius, Rome, struck 236-237 AD. Draped, bare-headed bust right. Reverse: Maximus in military attire left, holding baton and spear, two standards behind. RIC 213-218. Sharp, finely centered, on nice round flan. Pleasing variegated red, brown, and green patina. Choice coin. About Extremely Fine.
