Trajan, 98-117 AD. AE Sestertius, Rome mint, struck 101-102 AD. Laureate head right. Reverse: Pax seated left, holding branch and scepter. RIC 432; BMCRE 746; C. 636. Boldly struck -- the obverse perfectly centered on nearly round flan. Attractive deep green-olive patina, with touches of red and brown. Excellent early portrait. Choice Extremely Fine.
