Sale 25

Lot 3165

Austria, under Duke Leopold V (1177-1194). Lot of Three Silver Coins. Silver pfennig minted under the mintmaster Schlom (Solomon), who was mintmaster at Wiener-Neustadt. Choice Very Fine. Additionally, there is a six groschen of 1756 minted at Koenigsburg by Jacob Abraham (Extremely Fine) and a reichstaler of Wilhelm of Prussia dated 1793 (scratch-cleaned on both sides, otherwise Extremely Fine to About Uncirculated). Lot of 3 coins.

Rather than distribute these especially significant coins throughtout the catalogue, it was felt that such an advanced and published collection be presented in a cohesive manner. Therefore, coins of the ancient, medieval and modern world, within a Biblical context, have been listed all together from an historical and geographic perspective.
Estimated Value $375 - 525.

Realized $345
