Political Campaign Token. Issued in 1880 for the Hancock/English Presidential Campaign. Brass 25 mm. Winfield S. Hancock and William H. English were barley defeated by the Republican candidate James A. Garfield, also a Union general. Hancock was remembered in the South for his considerate behavior during Reconstruction. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated.
