Unknown. Oldest Christian Church Build in America by Cortez and the Incas in 1594. Oil on canvas, 10½ x 12. Dated 1848 on back. Original frame makes overall size 15 x 17 in. Only part of the outer walls of the church remain. There are a couple of tiny scratches in the sky, and the frame has a scratch and a few dings. A reminder of the Spanish conquest of Mexico.
