Snuff Box, c. 1880-90. "A Stight Mistake," English, 3½ inches in diameter and approximately ¾ inch in height, ebonized wood with deep yellow and black scene of political satire on the cover: A larger man attacks a smaller man as a larger dog attacks a smaller dog, and a dog, disguised as a woman, lurks behind a fence. The dialogue is, "Vol d'ye set your great dog at my little'um for?" Nice condition.
