1842. PCGS graded MS-62. Well struck with ample luster and faint toning on both sides. A scarce date in Mint State -- considerably rarer than the hoard-based 1859-O and 1860-O silver dollars. PCGS reports only 17 in this grade, with 27 finer (of which 12 are at the top level of MS-64) (PCGS # 6928) Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,500
