Vitellius, 69 AD. Gold Aureus (7.1g), Rome. Laureate head right of Vitellius. Reverse: Vesta seated right on throne, holding patera and scepter. RIC 106 [as R2]; BMC 33. Light "X" graffito in left reverse field; an excellent portrait coin with an unusually concise portrayal of this glutton-emperor. Very Fine.
