Q. Servilius Caepio Brutus, AR Denarius struck 54 BC. Head right of Libertas. Reverse: Ancestor L. Junius Brutus in procession left, between two lictors preceded by an accensus. Craw. 433/1; Syd. 906; RSC 31. Delicately toned and well-centered, with some luster evident. Minted by Brutus, one of the assassins of J. Caesar. Extremely Fine.
