Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AE Middle Bronze (27 mm.), Year 3 (undated), struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-736. Rare. Palm tree of seven branches, with two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription across field ("Simon"). Reverse: Vine leaf with branch; Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Hendin 736; Mild. -- (unpublished die combination: Obverse 46, Reverse 26). Irregular deep brown and green patina, with lighter earthen residues. Fine.
