Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AE Middle Bronze (22 mm.), Year 3, struck 134/135 AD. . Hen-735. Palm branch with wreath; Hebrew inscription around ("For the freedom of Jerusalem"). Reverse: Elongated lyre (kithara) with three strings; Hebrew inscription around ("Simon"). Hendin 735; Mild. 32. Stylish devices, boldly struck, but on tight flan. Good deep green patina, with lighter earthen residues. Nice Very Fine.
