Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AE Middle Bronze (25 mm.), Year 2, struck 133/134 AD. . Hen-708 var. Palm tree of seven branches, with two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription across field ("Simon"). Reverse: Vine leaf with branch; Hebrew inscription around ("Year two of the freedom of Israel"). Hendin 708 var; like Mild. 173, but nicer. Crude, irregular issue. Variegated deep green patina, with tan earthen residues. Interesting. Very Fine.
