Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AE Small Bronze (20 mm.), Year 1, struck 132/133 AD. "Eleazar." . Hen-681. Palm tree of seven branches, with two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription across field ("Eleazar the Priest"). Reverse: Vine leaf with branch; Hebrew inscription around ("Year one of the redemption of Israel"). Hendin 681; Mild. 150; AJC II, p. 266, 7. Well struck, the palm especially sharp. Deep green patina, with tan earthen residues. Nice Very Fine.
