Bar Kochba Revolt, 132-135 AD. AE Middle Bronze (25 mm.), Year 1"Hybrid", struck 132/133 AD. . Hen-679. Scarce. Palm tree of seven branches, with two date clusters below; Hebrew inscription across field ("Sma"). Reverse: Vine leaf with branch; Hebrew inscription around ("Year one of the redemption of Israel"). Hendin 679; Mild. 47; AJC II, p. 270, 40. Well centered on oval flan. Pleasing deep green and lighter green patina, with touches of azurite. Very Fine.
