1836 $2.50 Classic Head. Script 8. Population of 25, only 1 higher by a point. PCGS graded MS-64. A typical strike for this year, strong about the borders and stars with some softness in the centers on both sides. Intense frosty mint luster adds to its appeal and all is lightly toned. We note several interesting die cracks on the obverse. A wonderful high grade example for the date and the Classic Head design type.
