Columbian World's Fair, Chicago, 1892-1893. Two Choice Silver Spoons. Teaspoon size or larger, the first with bust of the famed navigator, with "World's Columbian Exposition" in cartouche below; reverse of handle with facing bust of Isabella. Bowl with design of the Santa Maria. Length: 5-3/4". The other a Renaissance-style spoon, with in-the-round figure of Columbus resting hand on anchor, atop spiral-twisted stem, and scalloped bowl. Length: 5-1/8". Both finely preserved, and lovely examples of their kind. Lot of 2.
