Liberty Seated Half Dollar. 1855 over 1854. Arrows. NGC graded Proof 65. A rare proof with an overdate, especially so on this important larger denomination coin. Satiny blue gray in color, with areas of rich gold as well. Boldly struck by the dies, and the devices are surrounded by watery mirror fields. Certainly one of the finest known of the date, and very rare in full gem proof condition.
