Attica. Athens, after 393 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.94 g). Head of Athena right, wearing crested helmet. Reverse: Owl standing right, olive sprig at left. Cf. Svoronos pl. 19, 6; SNG Cop. 63. Slightly smaller devices finely centered on usual compact flan, which is surprisingly round, plus attractive style make this a superior example of this late issue. Discreet banker's in reverse field. Nicely toned. Choice Very Fine.
