Celtic Central Europe. Northern Bulgarian Region, c. 3rd century BC. Lot of Three AR Tetradrachms, Imitating Philip III. Good beginner's material. All having same type: Head of youthful Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus enthroned left, holding eagle; CCCBM 185ff.; Göbl, OTA 579/15. All with similar unevenness of strike on reverse, towards bottom of Zeus. All lightly to medium toned, on good metal. Obverses in very high relief. Lot of 3. Coins average Fine to Very Fine.
