1936 Long Island Half Dollar. NGC graded MS-66. Brushed with a streak of amber toning through the central obverse, with lighter gold at the rim, the reverse with darker tones including some vibrant dark green and magenta shades. Toning of this intensity usually requires a lot of time and just the right circumstances to form, which is why it brings a premium.
