1881-S Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-65. The upper obverse is toned with a deep aqua blue which changes slowly to a deep magenta which then lightens at the lower obverse to a brilliant sunshine gold tone. Gem surfaces as well, and truly a magnificent coin to behold! The reverse, is untoned. Certainly at the top of the color ladder, and worthy of the most advanced toned Morgan collection, where this coin will no doubt be a centerpiece.
