Lot 582

1880-S Morgan Dollar. PCGS graded MS-66. Intense color on the right side of the obverse, mostly in the blue and green ranges with ample yellow gold as well. Liberty's face is toned with a vibrant violet shad, and the field before her face remains untoned or touched with a blush of gold. Further, the surfaces and strike are superb, with no distracting marks or ticks. On the frosty reverse, we note a peripheral ring of gold, otherwise bright and untoned. If you want a coin with really "big" color, then take a look at this piece.
Estimated Value $1,500 - 2,000.

Realized $3,220
