1836 Capped Bust Half Dime. Small 5¢. AU-55. Dark gold toning on both sides, with hints of luster beneath. Solidly struck, with no trace of weakness. The reverse shows clash marks. These Capped Bust half dimes have not seen price increases in this grade in decades, and are becoming more avidly collected by die variety all the time. As offered here, a nearly mint state coin can be purchased for a nominal sum, and we don't expect this to always be the case.
