Miniature Porcelain Painting. Artist Unknown. Napoleonic Soldiers on Horseback Engaged Under an Archway. Oil on porcelain. Measuring 5½ x 4¼". Framed to an overall size of 8½ x 7½". Remnants of paint from the frame remain at the upper right edge. Otherwise, in fine condition overall. Two Napoleonic era soldiers, in full military garb, draw their swords on a French soldier in the courtyard of architectural ruins rich with masonry.
Note: Verso is inscribed "F".
