1855 Braided Hair Half Cent. NGC graded MS-66 Red and Brown. Mostly full red, which is slightly faded accounting for the brown portion of the grade. Well struck by the dies, with complete details on Liberty's curls. Free of serious spots or other problems, and a glass is needed to see the few specks that reside on the surfaces. This is one of the 2 finest graded by NGC! There are none graded higher, and the best full Red example seen is MS-65. Therefore, if you want a pristine gem that boasts ample mint color and is superbly preserved, then take a look at this coin and bid accordingly. We don't think anyone will be disappointed with the radiant beauty here.
