Lot 534

1921 Mercury Dime. PCGS graded MS-64 Full Bands. One faint scuff on Liberty's cheek that slightly disturbs the toning probably kept this from an even higher grade. Toned with antique gold and blue shades, but abundant luster and pristine surfaces are the rule here. Boldly struck by the dies, and this is a truly rare date in this condition, and especially hard (and expensive) to locate in higher grades. Make your own evaluation, as this coin has been off the market for decades and was recently brought to us and submitted to PCGS just prior to the sale.
Estimated Value $1,200 - 1,400.

Realized $2,070
