1796 Draped Bust Half Dime. "LIHERTY" error. . Val-1. PCGS graded AU-58. This is one to take a look at, the coin has peripheral toning around both sides and is bright at the centers. There is a long thin obverse scratch down Liberty's neck and some faint graffiti is noted in the right obverse field. The reverse die is rotated about 30 degrees counter clockwise. Reflective on the devices, likely from an old cleaning. Nevertheless, Liberty sports good definition on her curls, and most of the eagle's breast feathers show.
