Lot 375

1854 Silver Three Cents. PCGS graded Proof 64. Sharply struck and well preserved. This coin is very darkly toned with deep midnight blue shades on both sides. Boldly struck and we are not certain which of the two obverse dies struck this coin as the plastic PCGS holder covers the diagnostic areas. This is one of 3 coins graded as such by PCGS, with a single coin graded higher, all 3 of which (plus a gem PF-65 graded by NGC) are offered in this sale! What an opportunity to purchase one of these extremely rare coins. Don't pass it up. In an old style green insert PCGS holder.
Estimated Value $12,500 - 15,000.
